About diagnosis, treatment and recovery
Who decides which technology is used?
The decision belongs neither to a single physician nor to a device; your file is reviewed by a multidisciplinary council of the relevant specialties and the most appropriate approach is decided together.
Is robotic surgery used for every patient?
No. Robotic surgery offers advantages in specific indications; there are situations where an open or laparoscopic approach is more appropriate. Suitability is assessed at the council.
Are the systems located at different campuses?
The platforms are distributed across campuses, but all three operate as one network with a shared record and council system; your treatment is planned at the campus where the required system is located.
Why do some figures show “—”?
We do not publish unverified figures. Confirmed system and procedure counts are updated on this page as they are verified.
How are maintenance and calibration of the systems assured?
Radiotherapy and imaging platforms undergo scheduled maintenance per manufacturer protocols; the medical physics team measures dose and image accuracy at regular intervals.
Does technology alone determine the outcome?
No. A system helps when it comes together with the right indication, an experienced team and sound planning. It is this whole that shapes the outcome, not the platform’s name.
Are my imaging and laboratory tests carried between campuses?
Yes. The three campuses run on a shared record system; a test may be done at one campus while treatment is planned at another, without you repeating the same test.
