Before/after images are the most persuasive tool there is — which is exactly why they are the easiest to abuse. At Doruk, a case image is never put on the site without the patient’s WRITTEN consent, given in the knowledge of where and for how long it will be published. Consent can always be withdrawn; when it is, the image is removed.
Every case we publish belongs to a real patient; but no image tells you that you will get the same result. Outcome varies with your anatomy, tissue characteristics, age and healing. That is why each image is shown together with the procedure name, the surgeon and the month after surgery — an image without context is misleading.
Our set of consent-completed cases is being prepared. We do not publish representative or stock images on this page; rather than filling a section that is not ready, we prefer to leave it empty.
In the meantime, if you would like to learn what can be expected in your own case, you can request a free second opinion: your file is reviewed by a multidisciplinary council and a realistic frame is offered to you.
