WHAT IS CHECK-UP?

Our health may be at risk due to many factors or genetic factors we encounter throughout life. Early diagnosis and treatment of such factors gain great importance with Check-Up. It, also known as "general health screening", is not only about health screening of individuals, but also measures the general health status of our body. In this way, Check-Up is really important to detect diseases at an early stage through body analysis, especially for individuals with chronic and hidden conditions (Cardiovascular Diseases, Cancer, Chronic Airway Diseases, etc.). Check-up screening should be applied regardless of age considering the diseases that pose a risk to our lives during the course of life time. Regular Check-Up screening once a year is recommended for those who have diabetes and severe chronic diseases after the age of 40.

HOW IS THE CHECK-UP PROCEDURE APPLIED?

As Doruk Healthcare Group, the Check-Up services that we provide starts with detailed physical examination after that some tests will be carried out and all necessary consultation decisions are made by our expert doctors. During the entire process, our Check-Up consultants will accompany you in the hospital.

- With blood tests; metabolic, hormonal and hematological conditions as well as the general status of the organs are determined.

- Organ function of our patients is displayed with radiological (x-ray, ultrasonic) examinations. Within the scope of these tests, different advanced imaging methods can be added to the check-up screening list with the decision of an expert physician.

- Within the scope of functional tests, our patients' heart health and respiratory systems are displayed in detail and examined.

HOW LONG DOES CHECK-UP TAKE?

It is usually determined by the examinations and tests in the package. In general health screening, the whole process often ends at the same day. However, in advanced or personalized check-up packages may take a full day or can be completed the next day.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO WHEN COMING TO CHECK-UP?

Before the Check-Up screening, you can request an appointment by calling our call center at ‘444 0 455 ' or you can create a request by filling the Check-Up application forms on our website.

- About 8-12 hours of fasting is required for laboratory tests.

- Water can be consumed but avoid consuming caffeine, tobacco, sugar and chewing gum.

- Stop drinking alcohol at least one day in advance and do not over eat at dinner.

- If there is an 'Efficient ECG' in the Check-Up program, it is recommended to bring towels, spare shirt, sportswear and sports shoes.

- For our female patients, if a mammography test will be carried out, do not apply lotion, cream or perfume like materials before arrival.

- Do not forget to inform our specialists or relevant units about your medicines that you use regularly.

- If there is a suspicion of pregnancy for our female guests must inform us.

- We would like to point out that some examinations of the Female Check-Up screening during menstrual periods may not give healthy results.
